Functions of the Department:
- Be responsible for end-use energy management and energy utilization policy formulation, planning and development, monitoring, and evaluation;
- Be the focal point of the Commission for energy end-use energy utilization and management activities;
- Monitor the manpower issues in the energy utilization and energy management and collaborate with the ETMD on the same;
- Collaborate with the EIS department on energy statistics and information of the end-use energy efficiency and utilization;
- Collaborate with relevant local and international stakeholders on energy utilization and management policy and planning and development;
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the Management or the Director-General/CEO.
