The functions of this unit are:


  • Create awareness about the Commission and publicize its activities using both traditional and new media;
  • Document all the Commission’s events and activities;
  • Track and document news and information that is related to the Commission as a corporate body, its image, and responsibilities in line with the enabling law;
  • Be responsible for the media coverage for the Commission’s public events and activities;
  • Assist user departments/units in the management of their public events;
  • Manage the social media handles of the Commission;
  • Coordinate and manage the interactions of the public with the Commission;
  • Carry out any other assignment as may be directed by the Director-General/CEO.
