Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Daikin Industries, Ltd visits Energy Commission of Nigeria

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and its partner, Daikin Industries Ltd visited the Commission on the 23rd October, 2024. They had an extensive introduction of who they are, their purpose and outline of their project. The purpose, they said is to promote high efficiency inverter ACs with low GWP R32 refrigerants to contribute to energy, cost and CO2 reduction in Nigeria. They informed the Commission of their debriefing seminar coming up in May 2025 in Abuja.

In his remarks, Barr. A. Y. Elamah who represented the Director General Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, assured them of the Commission's unwavering partnership with JICA and promised them that the Commission will be part of the upcoming seminar in May. It ended with a robust interactive session.
