Media and Public Affairs Unit
The functions of this unit are:
- create awareness about the Commission and publize its activities using both traditional and new media;
- document all the Commission’s events and activities;
- track and document news and information that is related to the Commission as a corporate body, its image, and responsibilities in line with the enabling law;
- be responsible for the media coverage for the Commission’s public events and activities;
- assist user departments/units in the management of its public event;
- manage the social media handles of the Commission;
- coordinate and manage the interactions of the public with the Commission;
- carry out any other assignment as may be directed by the Director-General/CEO.
