Energy Information System Department

The functions of this department are:

• coordinate the compilation of the annual energy statistics and energy balance and publish the same;
• Establishment and maintenance of the National Energy Data Bank;
• coordinate with relevant departments data and information relating to National Energy Statistics, National Energy Balance, and National Energy Data Bank;
• collaborate with relevant local and international stakeholders on energy data and information;
• ensure effective management of the ECN reference library;
• be the focal point of the Commission on energy information system;
• be responsible for the copyright of ECN publications;
• perform any other duty that may be assigned by the Management or the Director-General/CEO.
